Stools are available with turned or smooth legs (specify when ordering). Standard wood seats are 12.5" , cushion seats are 13.5" The stretchers are glued and pinned. They are shipped fully assembled shipped via UPS. 18" height is the same as a regular chair and are intended for use with 30"high tables or desks. Use 24" high stools with 36" high counters (standard). Use 30" high stools with 40-42" high bars. All stools are available unfinished or finished in Nat, med., dark, or dark cherry.
